I’ve just about managed to take August off from speaking, I’ve done a couple of webinars but nothing else. I’ve been supporting my wife who has been unwell this year but it worked out pretty well for me as since my travels in July I have been able to have the best part of a month with my passport locked away.

September is a whole different kettle of fish.

It’s a busy month with work plus from a community perspective, the events are stacked up.

I’m disappointed that I can’t make it to SPSCPT. Last year was a blast and I love South Africa, but I have had to withdraw as my wife needs to be somwhere at the back end of the week and I need to be around to keep Kyle on the straight and narrow…

On the 12th I’ll be in Oslo at the SPUG, doing a session on SharePoint and Azure – hopefully a good internet connection will prevail and I’ll be able to show some of the concepts of a hybrid deployment.

I’ll be flying to the USA (via London) from Norway and heading over to the great American city of Columbus, Ohio for SPSCBUS. I’m really looking forward to the event, it’s one of the smaller SPS events in the USA but these always seem to rock!

In the following week I’ll be in beautiful Nashua, New Hampshire for SPSNH. This event holds a special place for me as one of its organisers is Jason Himmelstein possibly the nicest guy in SharePointLand and somebody that I love and respect dearly, but more to follow on this in a later post.

In the following week (27th/28th) I’ll be at SQL Saturday Cambridge in the sunny UK. I’m spinning up a dedicated post to this one.

So that’s it. September is a crazy month for me. Away 3 of the 4 weekends. Plus a ton of work to be completed in the interim. Life’s a beach!
