Not so long ago in a galaxy just across the pond…

I’ve finally shaken off the brain freeze caused by some excessive travel in the last few weeks so I though I would partake in a little blog post following up from the awesome SharePoint Saturday New Hampshire that took place this past weekend (09/21).

We got lucky with the weather as the day was quite loverly but the downside of the nice weather was that the mild month of September so far had kept the leaves from turning so we missed out on some of the famous New Hampshire foliage.

The event itself was epic.

Well organised in a great (if a little bit odd looking) venue, the SPSNH team of Jason, Kris, Pat and Jim did themselves and local community proud managing to wrangle in a great speaker roster including a number of MVPs and good representation from their local speaking community.

There were some great sponsors including Atrion (kindly sponsoring the SharePint) and Knowledgelake (who sponsored my keynote) all of whom shared the view that the event was one of the best events they had been involved in on the East Coast.

I was fortunate enought to be bringing two sessions to the day; the keynote kicking off the day and a session on PowerShell towards the end (just in time to wake up those present ready for SharePint!).

As always I will kick my slides up to and once i have a chance to render it out properly I’ll make sure the keynote video is available somewhere online.

Outside of the day itself, Jason was kind enough to take me to Fenway on the Thursday night of my arrival to see the Red Sox clout the Orioles but due to a bricked phone I have none of the photos I took on the night 🙁

Oh, and if you get a chance, go see the people at the Microsoft Store in Salem (especially Neil and Cam) they’re awesome people with a real passion for Microsoft retail product, and in the case of phone fixing they’re real “genius” … 🙂

Here’s a shot of the Radisson “Transylvania” Nashua for the record. Out of place design? Naaah… 🙂
